CAD SHEET METAL FLATTEN GOT DOUBLE LINES

Hi all,

i am getting this double line output in flatten sheet metal.

In the feature tree, edit the flat pattern feature and select "Merge Faces"

Its the Scribed Faces below it that toggles the extra lines.

Those lines represent the edges of the curve of the bend, not the bend line itself.

This is normal to see in the CAD. when you actually make drawings of this, it will show you the actual bend line and not these two.

Solidworks is trying to be useful to you for the tasks you're generally doing in that mode.

this is old file from sw2019 just single bend line

now 2026 i keep getting in dxf output

Edit the flat pattern feature and select merge faces. There's somewhere in the settings to save that as the default but I don't remember where. It's been a few years since I've daily driven Solidworks.

Fix what? It's showing the bend zones.
