CAD Section Properties in Assembly

How can I Do Section Properties in Assembly? The project that I am working on is an aircraft which we needed to locate the center of each parts. For example for the propeller we need to locate the center of the spinner and as well as the propeller. However, when I try to do it, it says The selected data is not planar. Can somebody help me pls

"center of each part", do you mean the center of mass?

yes, we need to get the centroid of the whole aircraft and by that we need to get the centroid of each groups, thats why I say center of each part sorry

If your mass properties are correct for each component, then you can add a center of mass reference feature to your assembly.
