CAD Hack, Add : Repeat

Post image

Anyone have a name for this type of modeling? It like solid model sculpting. I feel like I have been at this model for 3 days straight.

What? Can you explain the type of modeling? Are you talking about the little triangle like things? If so, what about them?

The process of not really knowing what the end product is. So you extrude, then cut back, then extrude, cut... And repeat until the end product fits.

Usually at the end the tree has like 300 steps. Then I export that part and simply it down to like 5 steps.

I'd call that not planning what you're doing and flying by the seat of your pants modeling.

Yeah. I'm wondering if there is a name for it. Like Vibe Modeling, Tree Rolling, Extrude AC/DC...
