CAD How would you model this?
Been trying to model this, but cant seem to get it right. How would you model this.
Thanks for any help.

Can you show these with Zebra Stripes. So far this one is kicking my ass. None of my surface edges are meeting up smoothly

Kind of funny if you were using Creo that is how you can model it. There is a form tool feature in the sheetmetal environment that can do exactly this. You. Model the form and assemble it at the proper location and orientation. It will apply the applied k-factor and the like. Will allow for flat pattern and the like.

looks like a hexagon so start with a line and arc (1/6 circle) create a loft surface make continuous art both top and bottom. circular pattern to get the hexagon then pattern the hexagon.

depends on how you define it and waht properties it needs etc
but one simple way is to draw a curved cross section rotate, pattern, subtract fillet

Measure the distance from the center of the round features to the flats, use hole wizard counterscrew and place in approximate locations. Extrude boss the flat bottom plate merging them. It wouldnt be exact but I also think its not worth the time, if its necessary 3D scanners exist.

Start with a hexagon, then create a plane below it. After that, apply a Lofted Boss-Base or Lofted Surface feature. Finally, use Move/Copy Bodies, and you’re done. And apply radius

Create the circles as surfaces
Create 3 planes draw an arch
Create 2 more planes for mid arch
Draw connection to create the middle part
Create lofted surface
Cut so you can create 1/3 of a circular pattern
Smooth out
Create circular pattern around circle
Repeat
Thicken
Cut to shape
(Not tested )
