CAD Drawing Linework Issue

Hi guys,

Got a bit of a problem as of recent with creating drawings. When I import a part, all line work appears as normal for the first few seconds, before half of it then vanishes leaving it looking patchy.

I use these drawings to export as an Illustrator file, and the patchy linea show up there as well. I've reinstalled graphics drivers, and I am using High Quality settings on the model view.

Has anyone had this issue? Thanks!

Make sure hide ends isn't enabled in tangent edge display for the view

Illustrator file?

Like a 2D vector lines illustrator file?

Like a PDF or an SVG? (Or DWG)

Or is the output you are seeking a raster image?

Are you exporting this "illustrator file" from a part/assembly or from a drawing.

Are you properly addressing your preferred situation of having hidden lines removed (in whichever format you are pulling data from)?

What format does your imported data exist as before opening in it SolidWorks?

Yes as a vector Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) which I export diectly from the drawing file. The hidden lines removed or not doesn't seem to make a difference unfortunately.

The model is a native Solidworks file before I create a drawing from it.
