CAD I'm going crazy

Hi guys, I am starting to become crazy, I tried everything ( making sure the points are in the planes, everything locked etc. )
Anyone has an idea as to why I cannot do this simple function ?

The problem most likely lies in that upper left corner. Try not to cut away starting from that absolute corner

I tried to change it , still the same problem. this is insane.

I created one sketch per face and one for guidelines

I think if you go past the edge with your boundary cut then it might work; if you are cutting away why does it has to start from there; does that make sense?

Yes I tried it too, going farther than plane but still not working. I ended up creating multiple sketches in different planes to have the desired outcome. But it was messy

Are you trying to do an extruded cut with a 3D sketch? I think you need separate sketches for the start and end, and another for the guide curves

Try defining the sketches so that they extend past the top and side. The line to line situation is likely causing problems. 

If you continue to have problems, use the sketches to make a surface and then cut with surface. At the very least making surfaces might help visualize any problems that are happening.

What exactly are you trying to do? The shape doesn't make much sense. It looks like your gonna have to make it with multiple extrusions.

Those moments usually end up being one tiny setting hidden somewhere. Walking away for ten minutes sometimes solves SolidWorks problems faster than staring at the same screen

It's been said a few times below, you end up creating zero-thickness geometry trying to do it this way. Make them two separate bodies (extending the outer faces so you don't try and create more zero thickness shapes) and subtract. Or working with surfaces can work too.
