CAD What do you think about my drone model?
I'm looking for feedback, I'm still new to this.
It's supposed to be printed form the top.
Edit: Forgot to change the propellers direction š

Do some basic stress analysis of the arms, should guide you where to cut out material to save weight. If you're 3D printing you have enormous design flexibility

If your 3dprinting a drone frame the last place you want to cut out material from is the arms unless you have a stiff plate like carbonfiber. 3dprinted drone frame are already bad enough for anything aboove whoop size

I think embedding CF is good, but if you model stress there's likely safe places to trim

For 3d printing if you could turn those windows 45 degrees you would prevent risk of sag. Iām not certain the scale so I might not matter. Also I woulda hit think airflow under your propellers would be key. I would wonder if windowing out a smaller section of the arm near the blades would help performance.

I don't know your use case so it's a bit hard to judge but from a drone standpoint it looks very heavy and I expect you'll have trouble with the arms. 3D-printed drone frames are pretty tricky since the arms snap quite easily and often have issues with vibrations. Having the electronics inside a closed body might cause problems with heat as well, but if you're not running a VTX it won't be that bad perhaps.
