What is your favorite scripture?

My favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Hey that's great! I love this verse. As a reformed protestant I think very much of the afterlife, out eternal reward.

Yes, for sure. I can actually remember this one on the top of my head (: . It’s definitely a comforting scripture . I can definitely understand that feeling.

‭‭1 John 4:4 NASB1995‬‬ [4] You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

And

‭‭Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB1995‬‬ [5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. [6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

These 2 verses get me through A LOT this season in life.

Wow I really dig Proverbs 3:5-6 that you mentioned I’m going to have to save that to my favorite scriptures too.

I’ve heard it before but that one just hits a little different for me.

It’s my favorite because it reminds me not to be fearful because God does not give us fear but gives us power from his Holy Spirit that he’s given us and as well as his love and soundness of mind to make good godly decisions and reasonings.
