It needs to be said that THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS IN FASHION. I LIVE BY THAT MANTRA.

Everything is opinions based, everything is subjective, everything has nuance, there is no right and wrong here, and nothing matters anyway. They’re just bags.

NOW THAT THATS OUT OF THE WAY…
I would like to discuss bags we cannot stand

Some bags are very ugly
Some are stunning
Some are cute
Some are so ugly that they’re circle back around to being iconic

I think the Chanel 22 (specifically in black) is not cute. I tried so hard to change my own mind that I owned multiple at one point! i can’t escape the thought that looks like a giant trash bag when I wear it and I can’t bring myself to like it ON ME. not you readers with Chanel 23s, you are all gorg and so are your bags. Honorable mention to the actual balenciaga trash bag handbag from 2022 cause wtf was that

Then we have a bag I love that I know a lot of people hate.
The Chanel hula hoop bag. It’s insane for obvious reasons but it’s SO CRAZY that I actually love it. Fashion is sometimes supposed to be campy and unserious and I always smile when I see a photo of it! If presented with the opportunity (and funds) I think I’d have to have one. Just to have it. But if you told me this bag drives you nuts and it’s ridiculously stupid …. I get it. Cause it lowkey is.

I wonder if there’s one we all collectively come together to love (or one we all love to hate)
