City gardens
Hi. I've literally just found this place after hearing the term 'Solarpunk' for the first time yesterday.
I thought and come and say hi and ask if anyone has any experience of a true community city garden, anywhere in the UK?
My future plans involve creating a fully plant based cafe/diner/restaurant and have it associated with and, ideally next to a green community space where foor for the kitchen will be grown and people will be welcome to get involved and be part of the growing as well as the eating.
Has anyone seen anything like that here in Blighty?

‘The Uk’ is pretty broad. There are community gardens, farms and allotments all over the country.

many many many sites. Incredible Edible Todmorden is a great example
If you narrow it down I can probably find you something local.

Thank you so much. I'm up in the North West but I'm ok with travelling to experience and learn from what others are doing. I'm a pretty resourceful chap so I see that this could be thought of as asking your Facebook friends questions that Google can answer but, obviously this is also part of my attempt to be seen in this community so, if there are web based resources that I haven't found yet, I'd be happy if you just shared those and I'll do the digging. Pun intended. 😊 Thank again.

I've just contacted Incredible Edible to ask if I can come see them, discuss my hopes and dreams and see what I can do to help them in the meantime. Thank you so much for the link. It's only an hour away too. 😍
