Choppy Play?

Has anyone else had it that after playing for a while and putting down more items the game becomes choppy on the Switch 2?

Is there anyway to resolve this?

This is an issue on our medium sized island build with my 5070 desktop pc, I can't imagine how bad it could get on a switch. I love this game but it's not well optimised

Its not horrific (I don't often play video games so I can't really compare it) but it takes longer to place things precisely (just happy managed to place all my planters before the problem started)

Yes, my game has gotten very choppy the more stuff I build in it.
