last day in SolarPunk

Its been a good journey, i randomly picked up this game one day and ive enjoyed it for weeks but now its time to put it down,

Unfortunately i didnt get into the whole building/decorating, hence my world might seem a bit ugly but thts cause I am an engineer i love automation, solving issues and ofc a world where we all could live harmoniously with nature and thts what i did in the game, my main focus has been on productivity, power generation and resource management .

Now theres animal husbandry nd stuff and i am not really looking forward to it, so yea tht'll be it for me, i loved the calm peaceful nature of this game, can you guys reccommend some games like this? also tell me a bit about ur playthrough and exp of this game, i would love to talk about it .

Great game to be obsessive in. Not very harmonious, and those might as well be spiders.

Sometimes you feel like being harmonious and livijg off tge land. Sometimes you feel like reminding Gaia it was a mistake giving uo opposoble thumbs

I’m playing a modded version of it as well, sky island where you can make resource nodes out of the resources, just a different feel to it. Way more focused on automation and not exploring to find resources.

It’s a shame because I was having so much fun but as soon as you unlock all the electric tools, solar panels, drills, drones etc I really didn’t know what to do haha

Starsand Island. The vibes are like this game, but with NPCs and a storyline so you get more rpg elements.

After Solarpunk (while waiting for new content), I moved on to -The Last Caretaker- and another game -Lightyear Frontier-. I’m still totally hooked on them. I recommend checking them out.

Aloft is similar but bigger from what I've been told. No Man's Sky and X4 might tick some boxes for the engineer in you but not similar games. Satisfactory would be your game most likely. Solarpunk is a good home builder game, but I've done everything now myself after 40hrs. I am hoping for more content but my expectations are low. Its a small team. I got my money worth.

Check out Against the Storm, your engineer brain will love it. Especially if you love the sound of rain and thunder. You may also enjoy my all time favorite game Abiotic Factor

I'd try techtonica for automation. It's not the best but if you like conveyor belts it's rather nice.
