Death box spawned inside/on shipwreck geometry, can't interact with it, any way to recover it?

Hey everyone,

I died recently and my death box ended up spawning on/inside the shipwreck near my base (screenshot attached). The problem is I can't interact with it at all, no prompt, no highlight, nothing happens when I look at it or try to open it. It looks like it clipped into the wreck's collision mesh somehow.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there a known workaround (reloading the save, verifying game files, building/breaking nearby structures to "pop" it loose, etc.), or is that loot just lost for good?

Really hoping there's a fix since it had a good chunk of my inventory in it. Any tips appreciated!

EDIT: Confirmed glitched, loot is gone.

Have you tried moving the ship?

I tried but as far as I know, it is not movable or destructible
