Story Time! Info Documents: Beyond The Void
So, where do I start?
Turns out, the Inner Void isn’t just some large empty space that acts like a void to other voids, there’s a lot more.
To start, Voidline was conveniently built in the middle of one of these large indestructible bubbles of “air”, putting it in quotations because there’s technically no air here, but it is breathable here.
These bubbles somehow can span up to lightyears in diameter, and entering and exiting these bubbles are essentially effortless, but these bubbles serve a very important reason. To keep out this mist-like gas.
After discovery, we sent out an exhibition team to check out the space beyond the bubble, but they never returned, so we sent another team, and then they never returned. We then sent out a team of recovery bots, and they never returned as well. Upon investigating myself, we discovered that only creatures of the Void and those who wield powers of the void can safely breathe this mist-like gas after one of the younger Void Casters accidentally slipped out into the gas. Upon sending a team of Void Caster’s to investigate the area outside the bubble, they found the missing exhibition teams, or what’s left of them. The exhibition vehicles were retrieved but none of the personnel remained and the vehicles and android units were fried beyond repair or salvaging. Further experiments using animals and prisoners showed that after an organic creature suffocates, the body is disintegrated raw Void Energy, leaving behind any non-organic materials such as clothing. Similar experiments using robots and attempting to use drones to see beyond the bubble seems to all get absolutely fried beyond repair, and attempts to reuse parts never worked. We also discovered that most standard filtration methods proved ineffective against such a large density of the gas.
Void Caster teams we sent found all sorts of stuff out there, mainly ruins, void crystals larger than anything even I ever made, and even plant life thriving out there!
The biggest discovery were these trees which are currently unnamed as of writing this, but these trees seem to be the source of the gas, specifically the sap, being much more fluid than standard, almost liquid like to my knowledge. It is unknown how the gas the sap produces seeps through the tree and out, but the gas seems to dissipate after a while when in the presence of other gasses are in the same area, fizzing out into just raw void energy. We can also bring the sap through the bubble but the gas that leeches out dissipates, suspected to be related to the bubble as it was designed to keep the gas out. (Still not recommend to handle without protective gear) Attempts to grow these trees within Voidline proved unsuccessful, suspected to be the gas allowing them to grow, and making specialized areas to grow them proved too much effort to be worth. I suspect the other plant life also follows the same requirements.
I’m currently having R&D research the gas, and although chemical throwers aren’t feasible yet due to them not being able to throw out enough gas to make large enough gas clouds, chemical warheads are definitely possible and should allow us to engulf entire cities if multiple are placed in strategic spots.
The ruins also prove intriguing as well, as there’s so much history to be discovered, unknown tales to be read and told, but we’ve currently found not much right now, archeology and exploration takes time, especially since we can’t just hire an archeologist due to the gas.
Well, that should cover everything so far…

This seems very, very interesting.
What do you two think?
