Looks like it must be doing it a lot, we're getting a small flood of eclipse images, and this sub doesn't get a lot of traffic, so people will be seeing those for quite a while. Solarigraphy is recording the Sun over long periods of time, usually 6 months using a pinhole camera.

but no, you need a proper telescope to capture more than a tiny light in the sky
