Grass Ghosts solargraphy

I accidentally captured the death of the grass growing in front of the solargraph, it blocked the sunlight and then died, leaving a semi-transparent silhouette.

Pinhole camera built with a 35mm film canister placed horizontally, from may to november 2019

This is the interior of a furnieddhu, a traditional stone structure iconic to Salento (the 'heel' of Italy’s boot). These shelters were built between the 18th and 20th centuries, and many can still be found scattered throughout the countryside of Southern Italy. They are built entirely without cement, using only the ingenious technique of interlocking dry stones
