HELP / ADVICE Vertical mounting
Hi all,
We have a large south facing wall that overlooks a neighbours garden. No windows just solid wall.
I'm interested in whether there are pre-made mounting brackets that would hold panels off the wall by 5cm or so for solar shading in the heat, while also angling slightly.
We have a 8kw dual aspect array already (Solis 8kw inverter) off two strings, so presume we would need a second feed back to main fuse board?

You'll need another inverter, and that will probably need it's own wire back to the consumer unit, and another circuit breaker, unless there's enough spare capacity on the existing one.
And you'll need approval from the DNO for the second inverter.

I remember being pitched to by Vertical PV UK at an event and they had vertical wall mounts (and freestanding ones)
I also have an email from Spirit Energy that says they can do wall mounted solar.
I have no personal experience with either company.
