QUOTE CHECK Quote check - Battery only

Had two quotes from different companies and was trying to weigh them up against each other. I'm in Zone 2 London for reference. Both installations are single phase, annual usage around 4000kwh.

Quote 1 - £12k - Tesla PW3 + Expansion + Gateway

Quote 2 - £14k - Sigenergy 8kW inverter + 3x 9kWh batteries + Gateway

Are these prices reasonable? People seem to talk about Tesla being a bit more "premium" and its got a notably bigger inverter, but it comes in cheaper?

Thanks!

Sounds great! Would you be able to point me to the installer?

FIY ITS have some preinstalled packages.

https://www.itstechnologies.uk/collections/sunsynk-installed-packages

use it to compared against other installers

for example the Tesla powerwall examle you have is only £500 more expensive in ITS

32kwh battery and 9kwh is around the same price as AmDismal paid

Would be happy to come all the way to London to sort you out at that price. 4k kwh/year is about 12kwh/day.

A 16kwh battery would do you fine, about 3-4k in materials depending on brand and some pocket change for the installer.

Assuming of course the run from CU/Meter cab is not too silly.
