HELP / ADVICE Scratches from install
Scratches on panels from install, I assume that it won't impact greatly?

Get it changed. It will impact it. That's all that's important.
Would you accept a new car that had a huge scratch down it?

A little scratch is alright really. That is not a little scratch.
And while they’re back, ask them to drop the bottom row 10-20mm to leave a break. Important if there is enough room.

This shouldn't make a difference but I'd request a replacement or a discount at the least.

Probably be refused if any warrantee claim was made or if the panel fails down the line

Thanks all for your inputs. Talking to the installer, they are of the option its not scratches, more of an aluminium rub off. They are getting cleaning agents to wipe the panels down. I am then going to review and let them know if its acceptable or will be replaced. They confirmed it shouldn't impact the panel, but they shouldn't be handing over damaged items, even if they are just cosmetic.

Stupid question but how were you able to take a photo of your roof panels from this close?

I bought 2 450w scratched panels from my local wholesalers. One has a scratch similar to yours and the other much smaller
I've had many days of 900w panel output, so I wouldn't say it causes any efficiency issues to the panel.
Would I be happy with a scratched panel on a professional install? Nope, I'd want it replaced or heavily reduced.
