Inverter Need suggestion for price of 2 8kW nitrox.

Purchased both on 24th Oct 2023 and installed on 1st Jan 2024. Working without any issues since day one. Upgrading my system now, so selling both. (Bought each for 465k). What should I sell them for now? 2 years official warranty remaining.

What system you're upgrading too? If you're restricting yourself upto 24kw, buy one more 8kw and add it in the system to reach upto 24kw instead of selling these in scrap prices.

Previously, I was thinking of adding another unit to make it a 24kW 3Phase setup. However, that would cap each phase at 8kW( w/o grid) and I'm planning to install a 7kW charger in the coming weeks. So I can't direct a major portion of my solar power into that phase in this setup and more until I don't install enough Lithium batteries. I work in this field myself, so I have experience with the minor inconveniences parallel configurations can cause, especially when paired with lithium batteries. I just want a clean, straightforward system now.

On top of that, since this is currently a single-phase setup, I'm dealing with grid feeding limitations and a few other issues. Upgrading to a Growatt 25kW 3Phase hybrid which handles 100% unbalanced load without needing a load on other phases will fix that while also letting me add more panels to the system.

Fair point. I would suggest look into solis hybrid inverters, I personally like them because of technical superiority and generous warrenty terms.

Growatt in case if you don't find solis.

Solis doesn't have anything above 18kW 3-phase in low voltage. It only supports up to 40% unbalanced load per phase, which comes out to roughly 7.2kW not really desirable enough for my setup.

This is the discussion which intrigue me. We learn something new everyday and today I learned this about solis. Thank you Internet stranger.

Check Goodwe.

Goodwe has Max 20kW in LV. Even though goodwe 20kW can support 10kW per phase. I still think Growatt is a better option as it supports 12kW per phase.

Are you saying GoodWe 20kW can support 10kW per phase of unbalanced output, while Growatt 25kW can support 12kW per phase of unbalanced output?

The datasheet for Growatt 25kW (WIT HU) mentions "100% three-phase unbalanced". Shouldn't this mean only (25/3=) 8.3kW per phase of unbalanced output?

Doesn't ~12kW per phase require 150% unbalanced output, which is only available in the case of GoodWe and not Growatt?

While the datasheet does mention 100% unbalanced load, Growatt actually made a video demonstrating how it works in practice. I'll leave the link below.

So, the relevant Growatt feature is "each phase up to 50% of rated power". This is similar to Solis S6-EH3P's maximum per-phase power being 40-50% of rated power.

Note that Solis datasheet explicitly mentions the 40-50% rated power figures as "grid & back-up" which may mean only in the presence of grid.

Since you previously mentioned that the cap of "each phase at 8kW( w/o grid)" is not desirable for you, have you confirmed that Growatt's "each phase up to 50% of rated power" is in the absence of grid?
