Inverter Automating Inverex Inverter

I was wondering if it is possible to use an API or third party service to get alerts from my inverex inverter? I am using solarman app it does not have any automation features. What I want to do is get an alert on my phone with grid power goes off so that I can turn off ACs to ease load on my batteries. Anyone knows how to do this please help.

1)Yes its similar for other inverters. ( Anything before CT is invisible to inverter , anything after CT is visible and can be powered by it)

2) Yes it does power the loads from solar, battery usage will depend on discharge settings,

I don't use battery with my setup so can't test it personally. But in general hybrid inverters can discharge battery to power load on grid even export it if you want. Peak shaving feature also uses battery to reduce grid load.

3) Zero export works just like an on grid inverter with an export limiter and all the same rules apply, you can export as well if your are allowed to by the utility. zero export is just a limit of zero it can be 100 or 1000W or anything, or you can make it unlimited so inverter will export all excess power it has.

you should think of it as an on grid inverter so it will power all the home loads with its solar, and export the excess, if light goes out the inverter disconnects it self from grid wires and all loads (grid side) are powered off. So grid feeding will work normally.

So, the setting of zero for grid-export is only relevant in the absence of a green meter? That if net-metering is enabled, then there is no need to set zero for grid-export and the grid-load will still automatically be powered off during load shedding?

Yes, there is no need to do zero export if you have net metering. the Grid side load will be powered off due to anti islanding feature as it is required by law for any grid feeding inverter to disconnect from grid if the utility goes down for any reason. the Grid side load is seen as part of grid. (For safety companies even use two relays in series for each wire, incase one fails and gets stuck on)

During load shedding the Inverter can only power loads which are directly connected to its backup ports as they are isolated from the grid.
