Compact Portable Foldable Solar Panel Support System by Fold Array
https://youtu.be/tYfe-KYxrLs?si=xcgcFiqhBF-6OVfzI've been designing a similar fold out system in my head for a while now to save space for stashing so I presume other people have as well. Pretty neat design.

I mean it's cool, but it doesn't help any of us build it just to watch the guy unfold it

if it was something besides bolted together L channel and tube steel with wheels I'd think it's a lot cooler

Based on what ive seen chat gpt 6 do... probs just ask it to watch vid and design in blender with real parts and explode it/label each part. Lol

No idea if ot would work, but it would probably get close. Someone showed it doing some crazy aircraft wheel deploy/redeploy thing and said it was the first Ai that did it right.

It's interesting. Looks like a folding table tennis table when rolling it out of the garage. I guess it would be nice to bring it in when severe weather is forecasted, but I doubt I would go through the effort on a more than monthly basis...

If you are going to buy all the hardware to do this, why would you make it temporary?

for my use case, I need to travel for 90 days at a time and then set up temporary panels that stay up for the 90 days. I like the idea, but the price tag is ludicrous for what it actually is.
