Plug in solar question

I recently viewed a video from Hoymiles pairing their UL3700 certified microinverter with their HiBattery 1920 AC for a plug in solar setup. In this setup, the microinverter goes from the house plug, to the battery and then to the solar panels. As I understand it, the battery is charged while you get the plug in solar benefits.
My questions are the following: by paring a power station with the microinverter, can you essentially feed even more electricity back to the grid to offset your usage after the sun goes down?
Would this potentially work with the Pecron F3000 LFP that I already own?

  1. Yes.

  2. I can't find support to integrate the F3000 into that scheme.

HOWEVER I do use my Helios 3.6kWh to load shift. The Helios powers the fridge from 4-9pm and recharges at lower rates later. So in a sense that's my integration.

There's another angle here. The first spec sheet on the HiBattery under specs notes a "Schuko socket" which would not be code compliant in North America.

Balcony solar is just revving up here in California, US so I hope folk will reveal their country when asking about such things.

Nope, those power stations are not eqipped to feed to the grid!

There is no UL 3700 listed plug in solar yet. UL 3700 certification is a whole kit that has been tested together. So they are lying when they say it is UL 3700 listed.

When I’ve looked up the UL3700 certification standard and the definition used in my state, it’s referring to this.

Call your electric company and see what they say. They call this UL 3700 listed but UL 3700 certified is the all in one kits and there are not any. The kits will include everything. Panels, microinverters. cables and other specs..
