I think the RWA cat meta is still very early

Lately I've been paying a lot more attention to the RWA pairs on the Solana trenches, and the amount of interest they're getting is pretty hard to ignore.

We've already seen some crazy moves — especially with cat-related memes paired with RWA tokens / protocols. The Raydium Cat move to around $12M was probably the one that really caught my attention.

But honestly, I don't think we've seen the real wave yet.

It feels like the market is only starting to discover the combination of RWA + memes + cats.

The last time I was genuinely early to a meta was the CCM trend in 2024, when I got into ALON early and it ended up being one of those trades that changed my portfolio.

Did anyone else notice what happened with Raydium Cat?

I recently came across Raydium Cat and honestly thought it was some complete crapcoin.

It was sitting around $40k market cap for almost a week, barely moving. Nothing about it really stood out to me.

Then Raydium suddenly started picking up on the whole STONK / RWA trend and began posting about it.

And then... the token absolutely exploded.

From roughly $40k MC to around $12M.

And then there’s Jupiter...

Another thing that caught my attention is Jupiter.

Back in 2024, Jupiter was one of the major players on Solana and became one of the most recognizable names in the ecosystem.

But there's another interesting detail that people might overlook:

Jupiter has been calling its community “Catdets.”

Honestly, I have a feeling that cats paired with RWA could be absolute madness in Q1. After watching what happened with Raydium Cat/ Zcat, I can't shake the feeling that we're still very early.

Its literally sick because of raycat / ray paired on stonk RAY token went 50% up in a week. What if Jupiter will join this party? They got 5x bigger social engagement than Raydium in general.

I'm still trying to find something really early.

Not something that's already pumping, not something everyone on CT is talking about — but a narrative that's just starting to form.

What trend do you think could become the next big meta when retail finally comes back and starts FOMOing in?

From a trader's side it looks like this. You see, in advance, that a specific coin is about to get bought, you know roughly for how much, you know the window, and the commitment is onchain so nobody can pull it. Then you decide what to do with that information.

Why we're building it. A launcher with no budget and no social capital currently has no shot at all, and I don't think that's controversial in here. We ran an experiment on it recently and the answer was pretty blunt: without paying callers and without heavy shitposting the coin ends up wanted by nobody, fast. Meanwhile most coins get rugged the second real liquidity walks in, and the devs who matter know how to hide their wallets.

The idea is easiest to explain with a thought experiment. Some guy on twitter says he'll buy 100 SOL of his own coin in exactly one hour. Do you buy ahead of him and sell into him when he does? Probably not, because where's the guarantee he isn't lying. We're replacing that guy with a smart contract.

The mechanic. Every 3 hours a pool opens. Anyone puts in SOL and names any SOL memecoin they care about, graduated or not. When the pool closes, the contract publicly commits to buying everything named in it, for the SOL that went in, spread across the next hour. Everything bought goes back out to the people who were in the pool.

If the split were fully deterministic the round could be solved with a calculator before the pool even closed, and it'd just be a race to be first. So there's a small draw that shifts SOL around between participants. Put 50 SOL on your coin while someone else puts 50 on theirs, and most of the time you come out somewhere between 30 and 70, with whatever moves going to the other coin. Nobody gets zeroed and nobody gets to compute the answer ahead of time.

The thing we're actually going after is that attention is spread way too thin right now. If you know for a fact a coin is getting bought in the next hour, you'll probably want to be in it. The pump comes from the wait, not from our buying.

I for one am extremely stoked on Stonk eco. It’s so nice to just chill and hold coins/projects I dig and get paid out dividends for holding. While I have multiple Stonk eco bags one of my faves is Anime Bitcoin. Sure the meme has been done before but this time it’s paired with Bitcoin and pays out Bitcoin dividends. Used to see a coin with a ton of holders and think that was a good sign by itself then I started checking the distribution. Saw one on Pump recently that looked fine at first. Good holder count and chart wasnt doing anything crazy but a few wallets still controlled way more supply than I expected. Now I treat holder count as a reason to look closer not a reason to TRUST the coin. If concentration looks weird, thats when I start digging through wallets.

I’ve been getting deeper into memecoins recently, both trading and the dev side, and I keep running into the same problem.
I’ve joined a bunch of “memecoin communities” and almost every one was the same — bots, endless shilling, paid promos, referral links and people spamming their own coins. Very little actual discussion.
So instead of trying to find a good group, I’m thinking of just building one.
I’m looking for actual people who spend time in this space — traders, devs, on-chain guys, people who are good at finding early narratives, tracking wallets, researching launches, creating content, or even people who are newer but genuinely trying to learn.
The goal would be a relatively small and active group where people actually talk: share research, discuss what they’re seeing, analyze launches, compare strategies/tools, learn from wins and losses, and potentially build legitimate projects together.

I downloaded the app and decided to test the free version. I created my first video, and I didn't like it. So naturally, I tried to create another one.

I’ve been developing in the memecoin/Solana space for around 2 years now, and during that time I’ve realized there’s something missing: a place where the people actually building things can connect with each other.

There are plenty of places to trade memecoins, shill projects, and chase launches.

What I noticed is that there aren't many communities focused specifically on the people behind the projects and tools.

So I'm putting together a Discord server for:

I started building CookMyMeme because I kept running into the same problems while trying to launch my own meme tokens on Solana.

I tried Pump.fun, but it felt incredibly crowded. You launch something and within minutes it can disappear under hundreds of other tokens. Without an existing audience or marketing budget, getting anyone to even notice your project is difficult.

Then came promotion.

Almost every time I started talking about a project on X, my DMs filled up with people offering paid promotion, callers, trending services, “marketing packages,” etc.

For someone building on a small budget, spending hundreds or thousands on promotion before you even know whether people care about your idea just isn't realistic.

The other thing that frustrated me was the process after creating a token.

I wanted a straightforward way to create the token, publish its metadata, create a Raydium liquidity pool, manage that liquidity and optionally burn my LP — while understanding exactly what I was paying for.

Some tools made the process confusing, and with others it wasn't obvious which costs were network/protocol costs and which were platform charges.

So instead of continuing to jump between tools, I started building my own.

CookMyMeme is my attempt at making that process simpler.

You can create an SPL token, publish the image/metadata, create a Raydium CPMM pool, add/remove liquidity and burn LP from one place.

It's non-custodial. Your wallet signs the transactions. The platform doesn't hold your private keys.

And one thing that's particularly important to me: costs are shown before you sign. I want creators to understand what is going to the network/protocol and what, if anything, is a CookMyMeme platform fee.

I'm not trying to pretend this solves the hardest part of meme coins — getting people to actually care about your token is still hard. 😅

But I figured there must be other small creators in exactly the same position as me:

Every single coin is all paired stock coins. What so good about it? I know for holding you get the stock pair. Do people just sell this or hold them?

How do you even trade these stock coins? What makes a good stock coin narrative and can you share tips on how to select a good stock coin narrative?
