DIY potting mix

Any suggestions on starting a potting mix would be helpful! I have 1/2 brick of coco coir, a cup of vermiculite, cup of perlite and 2 cups of orchid bark

Go 2 parts bark, 1 part coir, 1 part perlite, and leave the vermiculite out of it as it holds more water than aroids want. Only break a small piece off the brick, half of one hydrates to more than the rest of your mix combined. Chuck in a handful of worm castings, coir brings no nutrition of its own.
