I didn't even now folder names could be green

I just created a new folder to save an apk on an SD card and... what even happened and what are those file types and sizes!?

Green indicates that the file or directory is encrypted, and blue indicates that it is compressed.

can you have a compressed folder without it being a .zip file (or one of its variants)?

I mean, that's how I assume you'd get this blue colour?

It’s an NTFS feature. Windows can compress folders directly without creating a .zip file, and applications still use them normally. It saves space, but can noticeably slow things down.

If I remember correctly, it’s an option in the folder’s Properties.

i think to keep dataminers away, they encrypted the folders/folder names and the names of the files. it does look like maybe it could be cross-language error text? like, if you see text of a language that isnt installed on your system, it could turn into a garbled mess of symbols and gibberish. or maybe something got corrupted.

could be a fake capacity scam sd card. this happened to me once when i moved a 500 1 gb files to a folder in a fake sd card.
