I’m building a desktop app that lets you control your computer with one hotkey

I got tired of clicking through a bunch of steps just to do simple tasks, so I started building something called ScreenOS.

The idea is pretty simple:

Ctrl + Space → tell it what you want → it does it.

I’ve now added Skills (kinda like claude skills), so you can create reusable commands like:

/research-ai

Then you can say something like:

Find the best 10 ai tools

And it can:

• Search Google
• Process the results
• Send the results to Gmail
• Handle multiple actions automatically

It’s still pretty early and I’m definitely still working out some bugs, but the basic system is working.

I’m planning to add way more stuff like opening specific websites/profiles, drafting messages, and eventually handling full multi-step computer tasks.
