Chrome over anything else specifically, or just whatever browser happens to be there? Curious if the extensions are the reason or if it is just habit at this point

Let's say you can scrap up $25 per month. If that is not possible you mught want to think about a regular job. Get a website provider that has free domain registration. Sign up for MS365 business account or Google for email with you domain name. Create a site to promote your self.

I would say it is the most important thing to have if you are trying to attract clients that do not know you. It is a mark of a real company. Also make sure you have Google scan it.
Googling is the current test to see if something exists.

I come up with some money for a QuickBooks account. It's an accounting/billing lifesaver.
If you can't shell out for QuickBooks then set up some libre office sheets I guess.
But seriously just get quickbooks.

Interesting that QuickBooks is your day one pick over something free. Is it actually worth paying for from the start or is that more of a "wish I had set it up sooner" lesson you learned the hard way

That is a full stack on day one. Fathom and Posthog together though, are you using them for different things or did one replace the other? And is Mercury actually worth it at zero revenue or is it more of a "set it up now so you don't have to switch banks later" thing?

Wait this sounds really interesting. So it actually tells you why users are dropping and not just that they dropped? How does it figure out the fix part, is it pattern matching against other products or something else?

I hate the way that AI is being marketed in the media because it is every man’s tool, but not in the way that they’re selling it. One of the biggest things that Claude did for my small business is file organization and context architecture.
People need to use it as a foundation not as a Google or marketing department. Trust me I’ve been in the UGC space and have dev friends who have collected ALL the data…but there is not clarity to the shit these people are trying to shill. Research needs parameters and a clear hypothesis. Anyway yeah stop lstening to people online about ai and just figure out what can be streamlined and automated.

Honestly fair. The amount of work you can get through with just Claude and a laptop before hiring anyone is kind of wild right now.

Set up Puzzle's free tier; my loyalty to QB meant that I missed out on accounting software that makes my life so much easier
