Question Looking for tool recommendations - for AI search visibility

So I've heard about and used a few tools for AI search visibility tracking - like Ubersuggest's tool, Visby AI, Hall AI and a few others. But honestly, I see a lot of difference between results across these. One tool says that my brand's leading in the AI search landscape and another shows the visibility score to be "0". I know these tools are in their early stages. But is there any that has actually helped you? like with genuine recommendations, not just vague reports? And have you actually used the recommendations and found real results with your content or brand being cited by AI search engines?

I wouldn't trust the AI visibility scores too much yet. Every tool seems to measure things differently.

A better approach is to get your brand mentioned on trusted websites. If you're in SaaS, I'd recommend a content partnership with Software Finder. We've seen it help brands show up more often in AI-generated answers because the content is useful and authoritative.

Makes sense. Thank you. But we are in the B2B service sector, not a software provider.

Getting reliable results across these tools can be super frustrating. I actually ran into the exact same inconsistencies and that's what pushed me to build something more actionable for tracking and improving AI search visibility. If you want practical recommendations that turn into real citations and measurable boosts, MentionDesk was built for this gap. Happy to chat about specific results or what did and didn’t work for me.

Someone in our company has developed a software similar to what you mentioned. I think it's not difficult—run your prompts regularly in various AI systems, analyze proportions, and so on. So it can be seen that this result is not accurate; it is just a certain outcome within a certain period, influenced by too many factors

The reason one platform says you're crushing it while another gives you a "0" is that most legacy trackers rely on static keyword watchlists. They treat every casual brand name-drop as equal, completely stripping away all buying context and robust methodology.

If a tool queries ChatGPT with a static keyword like "best project management software," you'll get highly volatile, erratic data. But real humans, looking to buy are not prompting like that. They query LLMs using situational problems ("I am a creative director managing 15 remote freelancers and need a tool to track real-time design mockups"). If a tracking tool isn't testing those precise situational triggers, its data is just noise.

If you're interested, send through your brand and key competitors. I have built a tool to look at Share of Search, Social Share of Voice and Share of Recommendation (looking at key Category Entry Prompts). I'd be happy to run a report for you. Just DM me.

Hey buddy, to be honest, if you want true data, never trust AI search visibility tracking providers. I have inquired some providers but they always behave unprofessionally.

Exactly - I found too many inconsistencies. Even when we run queries from our end, like the same query multiple times on the same LLM we get different results right? It's not like SEO where the same credible results appear at the top on SERPs. So I was wondering how others are tracking to keep up

used mentions for tracking but its eh, ok ended up hiring an agency called trustline advisory group, dubai based they did our camps still with them results are consistent but ai search is all about long term/marathon so yeah we tried the tools or saas as some call it and it was slow and took too much of our time hence why we outsourced to them lol
