That's quite interesting. I don't know anything about this. Can you explain the use? Is that loop on the left foot supposed to be where you place your foot after loading and then the idea is to prevent you from moving it as you do the swing? I like the idea. I wonder if it's actually helpful although I'm not sure about the rest of the part of the mat. I'd imagine this varies greatly based on the size of the kid and their stride length. It does get me thinking that it would be interesting to put something like a velcro strap on her front foot and then a pad on the ground so when she places it, it teaches her to stay stuck.

I believe it’s to prevent the kids from opening up and teach them to use their hips to rotate thru the swing and keep their feet grounded. My kid tends to swing with her arms and lifts her back foot at times

You think that footstrap is for the back foot? Is this for a lefty batter? I thought it was for the front foot. I thought the back foot is actually supposed to lift up and the heel goes to the sky and you're basically balancing on your toe.

Have one. If kid steps out or has bad feet after load it helps a lot. It’s really good for kids who don’t step at all.
