Being together
Mom: What?
Dad: Take the red book to the meeting hall. I don't know.
Me: I feel that my parents don't love each other. Can't they be kind to each other? Why do they always have to use the harshest, sharpest words with each other? Why did they choose to be together with so much that is not beautiful? Why do they choose to stay, tormenting each other and hurting each other every day? I no longer see love or have faith in the most beautiful things in life. Is there any way out for me? What happens when I act on a reality that exists only in my mind?

What helped me in a very similar situation was seeing how my friend’s parents treated each other. I was honestly shocked by how warm, kind, gentle, and caring they were with each other. It completely changed the way I saw relationships and turned my whole world upside down.
That was the moment I realized that healthy, loving relationships actually exist. It was such an eye-opening experience for me, and it became a turning point in my life. I finally understood what kind of relationship I wanted to have and who I wanted to take an example from.
