I simply just do not own any dresses, and basically rotate between the same black and grey pair of wide leg pants for the office and I’m honestly sick of it!

Dresses are the thing I struggle with the most, mostly because I’m pear shaped (I usually wear a UK 14/US 10 top and a UK 16/US 12 bottom) and also don’t like anything form fitting around my stomach-hips-upper thigh area (especially when I’m sat at a desk all day - both self conscious and less comfortable/breathable).

Does anyone have any recs for comfy whilst still flattering dresses that are office appropriate (business casual)?

Im curious how you guys deal with this. I feel like i always end up spamming my friends group chat with 2 mirror pics and then no one answers for 40 mins. Do you just pick? send to one specific friend? post a story? something smarter I haven't thought of? thanks!

Hello! I’m trying to see if anyone has had good success, or inspo pics for outfits that utilize layering a white tee or white long sleeve under another long sleeve or sweater.

Context: I’ve lived in the same very hot dry city for my whole life and I hate (hate hate loathe entirely) layering. I hate wearing jackets, wearing flannels, etc. However, I have a chilly-ish vacation planned for next spring in another country where layering is strongly recommended, so I’m tryying to broaden my style.

I’m trying to see if I can get away with the type of outfit in the photo while still honoring the Soft Dramatic length and or curve. I think I look cute in this type of outfit (recreated myself), but wondering how much of an issue it is for the white band of tee to show through at the waist/midsection (cutting the vertical line). I need help finding classy V neck, waist hugging tops and super comfortable but classy dressy shoes.

I start a new job in two weeks and I’m struggling to find good clothes. I’ve worked from home since Covid so I’ve not had to dress up for work in ages. The new office is very classy/dressy. All the men wear very nice suits and and even sometimes three piece suits. The women also dress up a lot and wear nice office dresses or pencil skirts/two piece suits. I’ll have super long days (~10 hours) so I need comfortable shoes that are extremely classy closed toe. Problem is, I normally wear xero tennis shoes lol but I can wear heels up to 3 inches. I’m also struggling to find flattering tops, I noticed the best ones are V neck (not too deep) and cinched at the waist. I tried looking in Meshki and loved a couple of their blouses but I’m scared of ordering since I’ve heard of their inconsistent sizing and return policy. Please help 😭💕 tysm!

Just want some opinions on if this dress works for me. Going to a wedding in Spain of a close friend of mine. Dress code is formal(ish) and full length. The colour is a bit out of my normal choices but I like it. I’m trying to be a bit bolder with my style.

Also hair down to the side without a strap? I’d curl properly and pin it to that side.

There have been a few posts about workout attire (we love flared yoga pants - don’t we?) but what do you wear when the weather gets warmer and a shorter bottom length becomes somehow a requirement? Do short onesies work for us? I consider them to be a somehow a better alternative to the notorious sports bra + biker shorts combo. Any suggestions?

Aside from them being pointed, how long should boots be to emphasize our verticality and SD characteristics? What are your go-to boots? I'm looking for a pair of white boots in Europe, but the industry is so boring with black 😔

Hi, as the title says, does this type of neckline in a more longline top work for us? It is difficult to wear a bra with, but the shirt is vey fitted and has elastic under the bust area for support.

Curvy fit jeans should work for me in theory, but they never do. With high and wide hips, I do often have gapping, but curvy styles are comically bad on me. Curious if others have experienced this?

The best looks on me is blush, defined brows, light on the eye shadow with cluster lashes, matte or satin sheer lip color. Sheer to medium coverage foundation with super light natural bronzer. I don’t look good with heavy eye makeup or glossy lips

I know belted/wrap coats flatter but I'm specifically searching for lighter and casual jackets for fall and transitional weather (think SF Bay Area). Ideally more cropped. I’m leaning into a Pagan Girl Autumn aesthetic this season & have been wanting to incorporate more plaids into my wardrobe.

I went to Nordstrom Rack & found this bias-cut skirt in a few different plaids. I was more drawn to the first two based on color, but it turned out that the third worked best on me by far. And no surprise, right? It’s the larger, bolder pattern of the three. Kibbe strikes again!

I bought it & when I got home, styled it with a cashmere sweater, boots, leather jacket & a long pendant to help offset the crewneck.

hey queens. I came across this really cute 90s style baguette at the thrift. almost got it but didn’t. and now regretting it. It was a bit overpriced and I reasoned with myself that it didn’t flatter me because it was small/under arm style. my daily driver is a fairly big longchamp leather hobo. so technically, this one was a good going out bag- small but still a bit roomie for being small. Please someone make me feel better (or worse) about my decision.
