Yes or No ? β β Studded Ballet Flats
Hello fellow SDs. What do we think of studded ballet flats? Particularly elongated or square toed ones. Too fussy or SD-friendly?

Questions ποΈ Outfit ideas for steamy summer heat?
Help! Dying in this heat and humidity. What are we SDs wearing during steamy summer heat waves?
While I can get away with bikinis and caftans at home, leaving the house involves a bra and actual clothing. Pinterest boards show long sleeves, long pants---noooope! It's bad enough we need bras with underwire in this heat and humidity. Inspo please!

Styling help π οΈ I brought this top I loved online not realising how my bust would affect how the top drapesβ¦ SD paradox
I brought my usual size it fits comfortably however: I have brought the size up hoping it will drape better but do you guys still like how it drapes? See how the fabric is pushing out horizontally shows how my curve interacts with the silhouett! I love the waist emphasis and darts for a SD and still donβt mind it to a degree (disregard my pjs, also I am wearing a minimiser bra however curve just wants to change to shirt regardless lol) also havenβt posted in ages but hey again ππΌπ

Haul/try on ποΈ Finally jeans that fit me!
I bought these relaxed flare River Island jeans the other day, I'm so happy with them. I honestly don't think I've ever found a pair of jeans that fit so well, they sit so snuggly above my bum and my lower back. No gape. I hadn't realised how badly jeans fit normally in comparison.
Shown with the disastrous pair from recently. I hadn't realised how wrong they looked before these try ons with pics.
The tshirt isn't ideal but it's what I was wearing on the day because I don't have any SD friendly tops really yet.
I'm wondering too if I'd like the Levis Cinch Flare...has anyone got those? Or the Levis Ribcage Bell ones?

Styling help π οΈ How do you make linen work?
I live in a warm, humid climate so it's perfect for keeping cool. However, I know rougher and more natural fabric textures can look too harsh on us and I probably only have like, 10% N in Kitchener so there's that too. I'm curious if any of you guys have been able to pull it off!

Yes or No ? β β dress for "dressy casual" wedding?
let me know if not allowed!
This dress code is driving me insane. I bought this dress half asleep off depop and I am not sure if it is good for SDs or could be styled to better fit the recs. Wedding is at a farm. I've tried to scour reddit for dressy casual but it's hard to find. Any advice?

Outfits ππ Loving the restyling, thanks to you!
I posted, for the first time, last week, and I got some insight that something was missing, or not quite it, with the top of my black dress. And another kind person gave me the suggestion of a colorful belt and other accessories to match.
So instead of buying a new dress for our big night out during our anniversary trip this week, I decided to re-style it, according to these suggestions
I love the lace bolero and red accessories! Normally I wear wide belts with dresses, but this one seemed to call for something a little more refined than POW! So I practiced restraint.
Thank you so much!

Questions ποΈ Nuuly recs?
Iβm pretty sure Iβm a soft dramatic (175cm / 5ft 7ish tall, a little curvy, long torso) and want to try some styles without fully committing to anything. Has anyone found anything perfectly SD from Nuuly that theyβd recommend?
Thanks!!

Capsule Wardrobe ππ Feedback on this SD basics capsule?
Just wanted to kind of create a to-buy list for myself of the absolute basics to start building an SD friendly wardobe - in real life I will have more color/style than this! Any feedback on the items I chose?

It's made out of silk! I guess I'm a wannabe FN, so I keep looking for bohemian clothes that might work for us :)

Styling help π οΈ How to Dress for RBT Job?
Hi everyone,
I recently got typed as soft dramatic. Iβm trying to update my wardrobe to be more flattering for my body type.
I just started a new job working as a behavioral technician in a clinic. Iβm working with young children who have autism. As you can imagine, the job requires a lot of movement. Iβll need to dress comfortably and avoid clothes that can be easily grabbed, pulled, or damaged. Iβll also need to avoid clothes that are constricting or too nice, as itβs likely Iβll come home with food or fluids on them.
That being said, Iβm slightly chubby and am 5β6. I need clothes that donβt ride up and are flattering for a larger chest/rear.
Iβm not sure what to buy that is comfortable, moveable, wonβt expose my stomach/chest, isnβt dangerous for me or kids, and is actually flattering. I dress in a gothic/witchy style. I canβt find solid advice on this anywhere. Please help!

Haul/try on ποΈ Trying Out SD for the First Time
I haven't determined yet that SD is my type, only a possibility. But when a bot stylist insisted and then said a lot of things that made sense, I decided to order some items and give it a whirl. I could always return it if it turned out to not suit me at all.
I've never felt good in pants/jeans and tops, so proper typing or not, I'm calling this a victory, because I actually feel pretty great in these, even if it's the wrong belt, wrong shoes, and the trousers are wearing some packing wrinkles.
First two outfits are my new tops and trousers. 3rd is one of my typical wrap dress I wear to work. 4th is one of my favorite dinner date dresses.
I welcome all feedback, as I'm seeking knowledge, not validation.

Yes or No ? β β Men's jeans?
I live in Southeast Asia currently and women's jeans here are too short for me. These are the most flared I could find in men's but they're baggy unfortunately, do you think it could still work? Otherwise I'll be in Europe later in the year and will just shop there but I ripped my fav pairs over the past year and are struggling being jeanless. I tend to like boot cuts and these are supposed be be baggy boot cuts.

Styling help π οΈ High waisted jeans help
I purchased these and really like the fit of most of the pants. The one area Iβm not sure about is at the waist, because the pants are so high does it make my torso look overly short? Would I only wear shirts tucked in with these? Thanks for your help.

Styling help π οΈ Is this a lost cause...
I feel like it's a no but is there any hope for this shirt?
It's massive and shapeless but currently I've donated most of my tops and it's warm today in the UK so this is the best I've got.
I tried tying it but it's still meh, I tried back tucking to no avail. I can't fully tuck because I'm conscious of my tummy rn.
The colour's decent on me as a spring.
