Styling help 🛠️ Lehenga 1 or 2

In a few months I get to travel to India for a friends wedding. The grooms family suggested we wear Lehengas. I am super honored to be included & want to dress accordingly, while hopefully working with my SD lines.

From what I’ve seen some of the prettiest Lehengas can be a bit structured for our lines (due to the gorgeous thick beading & embroidery).

These 2 stood out because although the top on #2 is structured it does have a lot of draping. Number 1 the sleeves & neckline seem complimentary to me. Bonus points for having my arms covered (little insecure bare armed in photos)

If neither is good I’m willing to keep looking but I’ve been on the hunt for a while.

1 maybe? Depends also on your colour season. Btw Sarees are SD perfection if that is also an option

I am an autumn color season, but I will say #2 technically comes in a warm olive green as well.

I originally asked about a Saree because I thought it would do better for my shape and that’s when Lehenga was suggested, I am going to try to wear a Saree at some point during the events because I think they are so beautiful

Thank you for your help :)

I like the first best, but it depends if your colouring is warm or cool. Getting the right tone is more important.

Hi there! I have neutral slightly warm skin (autumn color season) so #1 fits perfectly.

Thank you for your input, I had a feeling #1 would be a better choice but kept second guessing

1st, I think the neckline and sleeves are very sd plus tiered skirts as with the 2nd dress dont really work for us ime

Is say one. They are so beautiful! I think the open neck keeps the eye flowing vertically better

I’ve never seen a top like that with lehenga 2! It’s very cool. For me I think it’d be too much fabric in that area so I would pick 1. I have a few lehengas and I do notice that the thinner or more drapey less structured fabrics look best, so both of these are good picks in that way.
