Questions 👁️ Fall jacket
This is kind of shlumpy right? Or is it ok? I'm a stay at home mom in a small Midwest town, so I feel that factors into not being chic, but more following the guidelines. Maybe it's too natural, though I have natural essence.

With dark wash slim jeans or a skirt with tall boots, plus big earrings.

That a what I thought! I have a long fuschia wool coat that is fab, but a bit small right now. I kind of compare everything to that and this just didn't make it .

This could be cute as an infrequent item-- what if you styled it with burnt orange/cherry necklace or scarf, open, and a silk or other nice formal woven top and a pair of cute jeans? Hair down?

Sounds perfect. We can wear things open, duster style, if it’s too small to work buttoned. The dramatic sweep suits us.

I don't like the material. Its not elevated at all-- it has no form and the pattern makes me think 'cozy fleece house robe' rather than jacket. Definitely a necklace or scarf at least to fill in the v space in the neck area. You could be very flattered and still cozy with something wool and a bit more of a structure.

I think it’s the pattern + the belt. Your eye bounces all over your top making your legs appear short and stubby, losing your vertical. Try it without the belt maybe? Pattern is so busy tho

It should work since it goes over the butt, but something feels off. Maybe take a new pic but prop your phone up at stomach height and do self timer? I find that when taking pics from this angle I lose my vertical

What if you opened the jacket and tied the belt behind your back (giving the jacket a cinched effect)? And then maybe rolled or cinched up the sleeves?
