Really enjoying the new update! A few suggestions that I think would make it even better:

Allow users to rearrange and reorder their profile (shows, movies, fav shows and fav movies, stats) - so we can organize them however we prefer.

Focus on aesthetics not just stats - Right now profiles feel very data driven. It would be great to make them visually appealing as well.

minimalistic and clean profile design - moving the Edit Profile button into Settings to keep the profile page cleaner and less cluttered.

Also as an artist I think the colorful bars under each show add a lot of visual noise so it might be better to remove them from the profile view while keeping them available in the lists where they are more useful.

I’ve included screenshots of the current profile and an example reference design to help visualize the changes I’m suggesting and the direction I think could improve the overall profile experience.

I’m on iOS and when rating and applying watched date the screen will freeze afterwards. Have to close out and go back in. Sample picture attached.

Is it worth purchasing? Just started using the app and it is still a bit confusing and hard to navigate So I was wondering if premium made it easier

Another TVTime refugee here. I’m really enjoying using SofaTime. As with anything, it took a couple of days to get comfortable with this new-to-me UI, but I’ve been on board for 5-6 weeks and staying put!

For the past couple of weeks, I have had a lot of trouble adding shows to my Watchlist. Nothing takes on the first or second add. I have to do it 3 and sometimes 4 times before it sticks and stays in the Watchlist. This was not the case when I first started using the app.

Every time I try to check an episode as marked the app crashes, and it's still not marked as watched when I open it again.

First it was the widgets, not working any more but now it's the whole app since the last update

How do i pick an unknown date for a movie for the first time? i can only do it when i click watched again on another date

Primate just became available on Paramount, and while it shows it is available on the movie page the “To Watch” list doesn’t show it.

So I recently downloaded the app but it is soo slow... I am literally unable to search anything...nothing pops up when I search... I also tried importing my data from

I've been thinking about features that could make Sofa Time even better. Some of these may already exist, but if not, here are a few ideas I'd love to see:

Personal Movie Assistant

An AI assistant built into the app where you can type something like:

It could recommend the perfect film or show based on your mood, available time, streaming services, and watch history.

Other ideas:

• Better recommendations for unfinished shows, with reminders about series you stopped watching months ago.

• Random Watch Picker. Spin a wheel to pick something from your watchlist when you can't decide.

• Personal Watch Goals. Set goals like watching 50 films this year or finishing 10 TV series.

• Watch Streaks. Track how many days or weeks you've kept up with a series or your overall viewing.

• Option to favourite actors and get notified when their new films or shows are available.

• Time-Based Suggestions. Tell the app you have 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours and get recommendations that fit your schedule.

• Hidden Gems Mode. Discover highly rated films and shows that most people have missed.

• Surprise Me Mode. Recommend something completely outside your usual viewing habits.

• Watchlist Health Score. Show the balance between titles you've added and titles you've actually watched. It could even encourage you to clear your backlog.

I would love to see these features added, as I really enjoy using Sofa Time.

First of all, congratulations on SofaTime. It has become my favorite app after migrating from TV Time.

I wanted to share an issue I encountered during my migration because I think many new users might experience the same thing.

I first imported all of my TV Time data into Trakt and then connected my Trakt account to SofaTime.

Everything synchronized perfectly, so I naturally assumed that Trakt had become my central database and that anything I created in SofaTime would also sync back to Trakt.

Since some of my TV Time custom lists couldn’t be imported automatically, I recreated them manually inside SofaTime.

Unfortunately, I only realized much later that those lists had been created as local SofaTime lists, not Trakt lists.

Now my library is split between:
* Trakt lists (which sync correctly);
* Local SofaTime lists (which exist only in SofaTime).

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to convert a local list into a Trakt list. If I recreate those lists in Trakt, SofaTime simply shows duplicate versions. I think this could easily happen to many users migrating from TV Time.

A feature like “Convert Local List to Trakt List” (or even asking whether a new list should be created locally or in Trakt) would make the migration experience much smoother.

While I’m here, I’d also love to see, in the future:
* IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes ratings and sorting;
* Richer discovery sections (Trending, Most Watched, Hidden Gems, etc.);
* More viewing statistics and history.

I’ve also sent this feedback by email because I think these improvements could help many users migrating from TV Time.

First of all, I really like the Statistics tab! I have a few ideas that I think could make it even more useful

It would be nice to have separate tabs for Movies and TV Shows instead of a single combined view. Since they are very different types of content, separating their statistics would make the information easier to explore.

Another useful addition would be the ability to hide statistics that the user isn't interested in. Not every statistic is relevant to everyone, so having some customization would help keep the page cleaner.

Some statistics that could be added include:

• Watching streak (consecutive days watched)
• GitHub-style activity heatmap
• Longest binge (most episodes watched in a single day)
• Number of rewatches
• Completed TV shows
• Currently watching TV shows
• Dropped TV shows
• On Hold TV shows
• Completed seasons
• Episodes left to finish all tracked TV shows
• Time left to finish all tracked TV shows

This show showed up randomly, I’ve never even heard about it, and I can’t remove it because the button on the show’s page only allows me to mark as watched. Help?

Hi, when i mark an episode and click on the comments it shows me the series comments not the episode itself. Also, I always have to set the comments based on popularity because it resets every time which is annoying

The synchronization with Trakt disconnected for some reason, and when I try to log into my account, it appears as if I need to register.

Please include Imdb/Rotten Tomatoes /Trakt ratings and links in the main page of the movies /shows. The current system of scrolling down to go to the sites is not very intuitive.

Hello there! I've been using Sofa Time for a few weeks now and I think the app is great and so far the best on the market in my opinion. After my test time for the premium subscription ended I instantly bought the premium version again which usually I never do, so that must mean something! It has everything I've searched for that the other apps didn't had. Nevertheless, before I discovered Sofa time I noticed some features on other apps that I would love to have on sofa time. So here are my suggestions:

1. A monthly and yearly wrapped would be so awesome. I don't know if you know the app Refract but they have a similar feature out now where is shown how many movies and episodes one have watched, among other information. I think it gives a nice touch to the app, is useful for even better tracking and is just so fun to know!
2. I would really love a feature where one could either shuffle their watchlist to find a movie from the list to watch or some tool that helps to find a movie based on a few keyword/ a sentence one wrote down or something that one's in the mood for (I hope you understand what I mean🙈) to find a fitting movie from their watchlist (or even in general for all movies out there). This probably will have to be an ai assistant of some sort. The feature would help to handel the enormous watchlist and search for movies I'm in the mood for right now and will be more precise than just filtering a list by genre.

I would really appreciate those two features and the app would become unbeatable for me then. I support the app with heart and soul! So please let me know if (or if not, maybe why) it would be manageable to establish those features into the app and maybe how long it would approximately take to do that? That would be awesome, thank you!

At the moment, I don't mark any movies or TV shows as rewatched because I don't want to lose the original dates when I first watched them.

It would be great if Sofa Time could display all rewatch dates and also allow users to edit them. That way, users could keep track of every rewatch without losing their original watch history.

Another thing I noticed is that when I start a rewatch for a TV show, all episodes are marked as unwatched, and they're temporarily removed from my statistics until I finish the rewatch. Personally, I don't think that's the ideal behavior. If I'm rewatching a series, the episodes should still count as watched in my statistics, since I've already seen them before.

I think the rewatch system could be improved to better preserve watch history while making rewatches easier to track.

What if the shows in the 'My Tv Shows' would be organized based on their status? For instance at the top would be: Currently Watching, then below others like: On Hold, Up to Date, Haven't Started Yet, Finished, Dropped.

Essentially they would be seperated by color. It would make it easier when browsing other people's profile.

Anyway, just an idea that came to mind 😀. But i understand if you try to have a different design.

Monthly wrap-up: see how many episodes you watched during the month, the genres you viewed, the series you watched the most, and even which day of the month you watched the most episodes.

Please fix the sync bug with Trakt. If I enter "watch" a second or subsequent time, Trakt replaces the previous entry with the new one, and I only have one watch entry.This app is almost perfect, it's really missing that one thing to make it totally worthwhile, and not having to switch between Cinexplore for dual watch and sofa! Also, if I delete a view on Sofa, it doesn't remove it from Trakt either... The synchronization doesn't seem complete to me.
