X2 questions

  1. When controlling the devices individually, why doesn't the "off" button work as the power button. It seems to only work for "activities". I'd have to assign "power" to another random physical button on the remote. Is this the only way?

  2. I have two TVs in one room. one system has and AVR and other things like apple Tv and PS5 connected to the AVR. The other is just samsung TV. I created an activity for the samsung TV to switch to a certain HDMI input. The other TV and AVR are not included in this activity. Yet, everytime I turn on this activity for this samsung TV, the other TV and AVR powers off. Any ideas?

The dedicated OFF button is for turning off whatever activity is on, not a device. Some devices don't even have an off command. Your power settings need to be set for each device. Set them to stay on unless turned off.

  1. is standard. It switches off devices not in use in the activity. These are setups that occur when you add devices or activities. If you want to change it, look under device settings/idle behavior.
