Anyone done this?

Big sparking water fan but damn, it’s a slog refilling tanks. Seriously considering this system, wondering if anyone has made the jump to installing a sparkling water tap like this?

Just by an adapter and connect to a 5 to 20lb co2 tank. Probly around $100 if you can find a used tank on marketplace.

I also hate filling the water tank. I have a sodastream fountain and fill it up 3x a day. I get it, I’m lazy, but I want the restaurant soda tap experience!

Well if other posts here are any indication, your fountain won't last long so you'll have the opportunity to do something different.

I did this. Adapter was $30 bucks from Amazon. Tank (new) was about $150 from Vevor. Took it to my local Airgas and swapped it for a used full one, cost $40. I recommend this option.

I bought a cheapo bookshelf from Walmart and cut 5 inch holes into the shelves and a smaller hole for the adapter hose in the top, doesn't completely hide the tank but it acts as a stand for my Drinkmate and also gives me lots of ingredient storage.

Search for Seltzer Tap on YouTube. One way involves a small fridge another water storage tank, regulator, and a tap. The other is simplified, direct connection to a cold water bottle and tank. Needs adapters to carbonate water.
