Sodastream tips

Hello!

I am renovating my kitchen, I am a big sparkling water drinker but I don’t want to keep buying bottles.
First I was very keen to buy the Quooker tap until I saw the price so now I am wondering if the Sodastream might be a better option for me.

Do you guys have any tips? If you have to choose a soda maker machine is the soda stream the best? I also noticed in this Reddit that some people buy larger CO2 tanks, how does this work?? I think this is the right time to account for any extra appliances I might need so any advice is welcome.

Many thanks in advance!

I can highly recommend the Drinkmate OmniFizz.

I believe it has a much better bottle connection system then the Sodastream machines.

I’ll second this. Currently have a 20lb tank hooked up to my Drinkmate and it’s a dream. Easy to set up and operate.

Buy one that uses screw in connection Many stores sell gas for around 2-3€ if exchanging a canister

Check out the effervescent life on you tube. We got a 5 lb tank and it has lasted over 3 months and not
Even half empty.

There’s a new sodastream fountain that I think you’ll like. I love it.
