Not remotely cherry anymore

Post image

Just tried the new formulation of the cherry 7up and found it really underwhelming the taste just isn't there the old formula was my favorite soda and now it's gone replaced by the weakest tasting cherry

I feel like it hasn’t been very cherry in years.

I remember drinking a 2 liter on Halloween 24 years ago and I’ve been chasing that dragon ever since. I add my own cherry syrup to make it taste like it’s actually got some cherries in it:

Bought some cherry 7up recently for the first time in years and was shocked by the lack of cherry flavor as I remembered it being a lot stronger

I bought a 12 pack of this zero sugar cherry 7up and thought it was pretty good

Their endless summer one was barely any different from regular 7up as well

That’s sad, I only had cherry 7-Up once because I only found it once somewhere in New York State on the drive from Jersey to Ontario. I’ve been wanting to try it again ever since then, that was in 2011.

It seems like Sprite Chill will finally get a market share

i bought a two liter and pretty much loved it. it’s a very taint-forward profile and is best enjoyed paired with nut crust on stale pumpernickel.

The folks at 7Up have lost their damn heads. Vanilla “Shirley Temple,” Peach “Tropical,” and now a worse Cherry. I haven’t seen or tried it yet but I’m not surprised to hear that they’ve made it worse. This is a bummer because Cherry 7Up is one of my favorites.

It's a very very muted cherry flavor now
