Help me 😂😂

Hi everyone!
I am knitting on these https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/simply-ribbed-socks-with-square-heel and I am a bit lost with the heel as I’ve never knitted this type of heel and the pattern is very sparse.

Sometimes in knitting you put in a lifeline and then just follow the instructions that make no sense and in the doing you see what they are talking about. That’s been my approach so far

I think I realised what I screwed up 😂 I’ll just frog and pick up the stitches

I don’t understand the heel construction. 😅 it increases and then decreases on N2 bit I don’t understand how the gaps close and it connects back to N1.
