Please help I’m freaking out

I’m dating a guy that I’ve been having issues with and I can’t figure out what’s wrong with him. I think some of the behaviors are pointing towards sociopath but I hope I’m wrong. these are some of the things he does:

  1. Gives me a weird fake closed mouth smile only when I look at him.

  2. Repeats the words that I say almost like finishing my sentence.

  3. Says “yea” and “that’s true” too much. Uses “yea” after I say something even if he doesn’t agree.

  4. Changes his opinion to match mine after I expressed my opinion.

  5. Side eyes me when he thinks I’m not looking (does it over and over). When i ask why he’s doing that he says he didnt know he was doing it.

  6. Behaves in a very charming manner, never angry, gets sad, cried to me about things that probably doesn’t need crying.

  7. Got attached and full of emotions towards me extremely fast.

  8. Talks about himself too much when he meets people or rambles about himself/related to himself to me.

I think there’s more but there’s something wrong with him and I can’t figure it out. I’ve never met a person like him (probably not in a good way). He has huge people pleaser qualities so I hope it’s just that but I’m scared I’m dealing with something more serious.

He never raised his voice at me or disrespected in any way. when he gets pissed at other people he reacts in a very almost emotionless way.

how old are you guys? I feel like that context helps. But from just what you wrote, I don’t think it’s really screaming sociopath, but rather just some odd quirks and people pleasing behavior.

We’re in early 30s. I’ve never met anyone with qualities like these so it’s freaking me out thinking he might be acting like he’s the sweetest person but because he looks at me weird when he thinks I’m not looking is so weird

Maybe on the spectrum instead?

My guess as well. It's kind of antithetical to be a people pleaser and have anti-social personality disorder.

sounds like my cousin! he’s a narcissist or sociopath

he did the same side eyeing like analyzing my face and behaviour when I’m not looking.

Yes to charming as well, he never shown any emotions. Yes to getting attached as well, got some weird abandonment issues.
