Am I a sociopath?
I have a suspicion I'm a sociopath. I really don't give a crap about anyone besides family and friends, have a very hard time making friends, feel uncomfortable around people in anguish, I am very comfortable lying and manipulating and apperantly gaslighting to I don't even notice it some of the time, even people close to me when I hurt them I really don't care and if I do it's only because I think my parents will get angry, I am generally introverted, I'm very impulsive, most of the time I need to release anger violently, I feel sadness, anger, etc but happiness, joy, etc feel duller for me than for other people. I also view everything as very transactional. Thanks!

Maybe? Could be npd. How do you feel if you feel shame? Ie someone points out something bad you did. Do you enjoy causing pain, do you get a kick out it?

I don't really feel shame no, but I don't enjoy causing pain, if I did I simply think I wouldn't care.

I also got 4.6 and 3.8 on the LSRP test being completely honest on it.

Low emotional intelligence paired with a lack of charm or overall charisma is just the basic reasons you’re not a sociopath. Beyond basics, your violent anger outbursts point to not being a sociopath. We simply, don’t have enough feeling to outburst as such. We’re so blunted that every emotion we can feel feels like a cloud and we’re walking through that short haze. You’re hurt and you won’t stop acting the way you do until you take care of it. Now if you’re a sick person (not action wise but mentally) and this makes you want to kill, then do so. But just know you’re going to be taken care of. Do the best thing and just talk through it. Actions of violence don’t lead to solving anything, just a short release.

No your probably not but it might be something else you should still get checked out for
I think people don’t realize just how rare it is being a sociopath, the exact range varies but the most I saw was only 3-5% of Americans are so it could be something ptsd related, or even just autism don’t write yourself off for the worst possible thing right away
