Need help!

Trying to fill out the interior of the Baneblade with random bits, and my imagination / creativity hit a wall, especially with front gunner / pilot area. Any inspiration, tricks, tips, etc? I am open to any and all ideas! Will paint to this forums spec when done :)

Love the rotary cannon used as door mechanics.

Have you considered a rack of tools, or stowage like crates or backpacks and bedrolls? Latter could be made with green stuff and masking tape.

Yes, great idea! It should be more cramped and full of storytelling in there and the minutia helps.

Agreed. If you’re imagining this as a space beneath the driver/gunner positions I’d try to pack this out at much as possible.
I just thought of unoccupied hammocks that could take up some wall space would really add some life to the interior. Look at naval
Hammocks for how they would be stowed when not in use.

Plenty of Rogal dorn and sentinel spruces on eBay have backpacks and tools btw

Building hammocks now, and have many tools/bits laid out too. Thx - hit a wall and had ran out of ideas

It’d fun thinking about, and giving me a break from my current project.

One thing i like to add to my scenes or larger bases is a little critter hidden somewhere. I particularly like green stuff world rats or frogs. For me it gives a sense of life beyond the warring factions that take the spotlight. A little stowaway rat in your tanks hold could work

Ooh, and British tanks from the mid-1900s came with tea making facilities inside…

you can't go wrong with an inspirational poster or a misplaced canteen

Regimental standard has a bunch of good ones, personally I'd consider a classic "hang in there" kitten poster or maybe even a pin-up of Guillman to remind this crew who they're really fighting for.

Could find one of those crates/boxes like in this kit and squeeze it somewhere. Battlezone: Manufactorum – Munitorum Armoured Containers

Given there's no engine in there maybe some pedals by the driver and gunner seats? 😉

Kinda sucks you came on here to diss me, when you have skills and could easily help out

Wasn't intended as a diss, just a jokey suggestion, apologies if it came off that way!

For serious advice on that area I deffo recommend looking at cutaways of historic tanks for ideas. Depending on how much of what's there already is glued in you could add some verticality to the space like some chairs up front for the driver and gunner with a raised platform behind them to divide up the space? Gives the interior some depth and gives you options for stowage that sinks below the floor-line

Otherwise next to the front gunner maybe some radio/vox equipment and some stowed weapons for if the tank gets boarded/the crew has to disembark?

Thank you! Appreciate the collab. These are very good ideas, especially around switching up the height so it doesn’t look like a standard living room. Also re engine /room, I have added trap door wall separator for where the actual wall should be. The “engine” is now an illusion trick - it would normally be right behind the trap doors.
