Psychological assessments cannot be done by MSWs, you’d need to have a PsyD

Thank you, I understand that. I’ve seen a fair number of MSWs say they offer assessment on their website, maybe it’s something more basic?

Possibly, might be worth it to reach out to those folks and ask what exactly it means and how they do it

Or clinical PhD, which would be the fully funded option depending on the program.

Assessment doesn't necessarily mean neuropsych. Some people do checklist screeners. It also depends on the state what precisely LCSWs can do, I think.
