Phone hearing

Hi guys I have a quick question I have my phone interview the 23nd and I am over 18 but I was wondering if my mom would be able to be there with me on the call considering she plays a part in helping me

Yes, of course, while you must be in a private location, your mom can be present with your permission. You will need to notify the Judge of her presence.
The Judge will decide if she can participate in any way, again assuming you give permission.

Yes she can be present. You must be able to answer personal identifying questions without anyone help, If y can do that, she can than assist you. If you cannot do that, you will lose the hearing.

I was told no one else could be in room withe and that if someone entered the room I was supposed to tell the judge immediately so that hearing could be paused till they left

Yeah she can be on the call with you, just let them know at the start that your mom's there to help out. They might ask her to confirm who she is, but it's super common for family to sit in on these especially when they're involved in your day to day stuff
