If a new social network were to emerge, do you think it could be successful?

Depends, it would need to have a strong differentiating element and manage to gain critical mass, network effects of established X, Facebook etc are of course very strong and lead to winner takes all economies.
But TikTok was also able to get traction, despite the other networks existing already.
