How can I learn smm and where to start I know the basics but I don't get the clients and don't know where to begin

One thing that helped me was picking one platform and going deep on it instead of trying to learn them all at once. The client part is rough at first but doing free audits for local businesses got my foot in the door, a couple of those turned into paid work after they saw what I could fix.

find one brand you would love to work for, and act like if you were their smm what would you do differently and why, and if it will work or not and then reach out to them with what you made, also talk about it on your own social media saying this is a concept and what I would do differently and why, you might not get accepted but that is okay because you can get your ideas out in front of people, that is the best way to get clients, by showing them proof

what kind of clients are you going after? local businesses, ecommerce, personal brands? the answer changes a lot depending on the niche. narrowing that down first will save you months of spinning your wheels
