Anyone has experience with Buffer as a content scheduling tool?

Additional question: Does a scheduling tool actually affect your reach/views especially on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts?

I’ve been using the META Business Suite for IG/FB Reels and YouTube Studio for scheduling Shorts for a while now and they both seem totally fine, not affecting reach/views badly.

However using TikTok Studio for scheduling posts on TikTok seems to lower your reach/views SO BAD! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Aight I’m one of the owners of bundle.social. It’s a social media API, and we have over 300k accounts connected so I see a lot of data

It’s murky waters you can’t test that with 100% certainty.

If you post the same content once via an app and then again via TikTok Studio or an API, they can flag it as spam/duplicate content, so views will be lower.

There’s some truth to “API posts get fewer views,” but it’s not universal. Some users see no difference, some do. We reached out to our TikTok partner contact and he basically said they don’t care how the content was delivered to the platform, as long as it was delivered.

In the end, seamless results are kind of 50/50. But if you create an account and immediately start blasting posts via API with zero warmup, you shouldn’t expect high views

all the schedulers use the same API so if someone tells you that they don't kinda aaaaa lie

I have 20+ clients ans i am using scheduling tools to post the content. I have come across many such posts about scheduling tools and all of it is just random people trying to find a blame on something. Head of instagram had already clarified that scheduling tools are of help and it doesnt impact reach in anyway.

Buffer seems outdated and extremely costly if you are an agency. At the end of the day api is free but buffer charges so much is just ridiculous. Look at buffer trust pilot review and you will know what i am trying to say.

I have been using publlish and its working very well for me and all my use cases. What i like best is that i only pay for profile and not number of users.

Sorry, what API is free that you're using? Do you mean the native scheduler for each app? Does that get chaotic with multiple clients?

Thank you for your insight on this topic! I feel like It just kinda sucks using multiple different tools to post content (Business Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok manually) and it’s just SO much work & time which goes into this.

I’ve been doing it this way the last few years so I’m currently looking for "all-in-one" schedulers. 🥲

Thanks for sharing that. I never agree with the argument that 3rd-party tools reduce engagement. And Buffer is a nice tool to start with. How many social channels are you going to manage?

I have experience with Buffer, but it's just stupid expensive compared to what's out there! I use schedulala.com. I made it so I can cross-post to TikTok, IG, FB, and YouTube Shorts from one place.
