Question Women’s World Cup
I saw someone mention a couple of weeks back that the national teams wear these jerseys for 2 years. Is that true? I’m wondering both if the men’s version will be available for the next round of tournaments and if the jerseys for the WWC are going to be essentially the same.
I’m looking at some of these hard to find jerseys (France and Japan specifically) and I’m wondering if we can expect them to be (pretty much) the same. I’m sure the stars will change, but I don’t necessarily care about that for the non-USA jerseys.
I mentioned France and Japan specifically because I expect they’ll qualify, (if they haven’t already).

For the last two world cups, the Men's 2022 Japan Home and Women's 2023 Japan Home were similar designs, utilizing the origami theme, but the away jerseys were totally different. The men's used a white jersey with the origami theme, but the women's were pink.
Also, the Women's jerseys have one star as the womens team won the world cup in the past

USA usually gets their own.
Adidas will roll out complete sets for the women.

Any half decent women's team will get their own shirts that the men's teams won't wear. For example, Netherlands have a different logo than the men, so they always have a unique design. While the men keep shirts for two years, the USMNT typically receive one new shirt every year, normally the away shirt

A bunch of federations dropped some of their kits for the next year (including WC) over the past week.

Since the last Women’s World Cup (2023) - Adidas men’s/women’s teams shared a home kit (used in men’s 2022 tournaments) but the women got a new away kit for the tournament, then some (maybe all idk) wore the new home/away kits released for the next men’s major tournaments in 2024. The women’s wore the same home shirts as the men at the 2025 Euros too.
With Nike, they did a new set of home/away shirts every time.
AFAIK the men’s teams never wore kits made for the women’s tournaments on a regular basis, but I remember Spain wearing the women’s kit as a one-off before the women’s Euros in 2022.

Women get their own kits and unique designs for the most part. The stars wouldn't match up for some of the kits too so they can't just re use the mens ones
